Joy! The kind that bubbles up, bounces around, and bursts out and prays when Jesus is near.

So, before we break it down, go ahead and grab your Day 21 Jesse Tree card and your heart ornament.

That little heart? It stands for something big today.

A heart full of worship and wonder.

Good. Let's go.

Today's story comes from Luke 1, 39 through 56, and it's about Mary and Elizabeth.

Mary had just found out she was going to be the mother of Jesus.

Talk about a game changer.

And when she heard that her cousin Elizabeth was also having a baby,

she ran, yes, ran to see her.

Now listen to this, straight from the Bible.

When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. In a loud voice, she exclaimed, Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear.

Tiny theologian, that baby inside Elizabeth, that was John the Baptist,

and even before he was born, he leaped for joy because Jesus had entered the room.

That's the kind of joy Jesus brings.

Heart leaping joy.

And Mary?

She didn't hold back.

She busted out in praise,
