This is Jesse Fox, the senior editor for Vulture.

Jesse has been a pal of mine for a couple years,

many years, more than a couple.

We've had many wonderful conversations about comedy,

about stand-up comedy, about show business, and the craft.

And we thought it would be fun to sit down and do what we're now calling.

The first, you made it weird comedy, comedy episode.

Like they do comedy episodes, comedy issues and magazines and stuff.

This is the comedy episode of You Made It Weird because Jesse is certainly an authority.

And it was very fun to talk with him, you know,

an authority in the way that we're all authorities because we can all enjoy comedy in certain ways.

But he's a very interesting authority in the way that we're all authorities.
