Today's guest on the podcast, Jesse Bradley.

Now, he's a former pro soccer player, but he's now a pastor at Grace Community Church in Auburn, Washington. Now, he was a goalkeeper, and he played in Zimbabwe, Africa, and in Scotland

professionally, graduate of Dartmouth College and Ivy League. And he became in Zimbabwe, Africa and in Scotland professionally, graduate of Dartmouth College and Ivy Leagher.

And he became a pastor in 2015 at Grace Community Church.

And we talk on this podcast just about his journey through soccer and sports.

We talk a little bit about the World Cup and just his thoughts on the World Cup.

And then we get into becoming a pastor. But even before that, when he is in Zimbabwe, Africa, pursuing a professional

soccer career, he almost loses his life. He shares the powerful story of overcoming just sickness and really to a point where he thought he wasn't

going to live. And that story is probably the most powerful in the podcast. It's about halfway through.

But this is a really fun conversation with a guy who knows soccer, who knows sports, but then

goes into ministry to become a pastor and just the

challenges that come with becoming a pastor and being a pastor of a church and overseeing a congregation.
