Do you remember a couple weeks ago you had kind of a rough week about remembering to bring stuff to school?

You made a comment to me during that week that you wish you had a backpack that would just pack itself so that then you wouldn't have those problems.

Once upon a time, a long time ago, there was a big boy named Jesse who loved school,

but was always forgetting to bring the things that he needed.

On Monday, he would forget his reading folder. Then on Tuesday, he would forget his

library book. On Wednesday, he would forget his soccer cleats and shin guards. On Thursday,

he would forget his water bottle, or if he remembered his water bottle, he would forget his hat.

On Friday, he would forget his lunch.

The next week, he would forget all the same things, but in a different order.

No matter how hard he tried, and he tried very hard, it seemed that Jesse was always forgetting something.
