episode, you'll remember when I was at the Cheltenham Literature Festival last week. Well,

about an hour after the trouble news came through that, so David Ames has been attacked and had

died. I was due on stage at the festival to talk to Jess Phillips, the Labour MP and front venture,

and it inevitably changed much of the conversation that we had. But I thought we'd bring some of it

to you on the podcast today, so we talk in quite emotional terms, I think, about her immediate response

to the news about David Ames. Then we move on to talk more broadly about attitudes towards

politicians, cross-party working, and just politics in general in Bitstakes. That's coming up
