And let's just start with the elephant in the room, which is, I think habits get a really bad rap. But you and I both know it's for good reason, right? And let's just start with that.

What do you think are some common misconceptions that people carry when they hear the word habit or even the word routine? Yeah,

I feel like habits and routines to me kind of go together. Like in my mind, I view habits as kind of

like the building blocks of routines. So I'm glad that you used both words.

But I feel like people that I've spoken to, moms who come to me talking about habits,

routines, they think that it has to be set in stone.

That once you, quote, created the habit and or the routine that's it there's no wiggle

room it's you know like i said set in stone and i feel like because of that habits and routines

can kind of make us feel like we're carrying a lot of shame, a lot of guilt, almost this sense of failure.
