Do you feel like you're coaching for your job?

Like I wonder how to do kind of like...

No, I don't feel like that at all.

I really don't.

I don't.

I'm well beyond that.

I don't feel like that.

Well, it's looking like that's what's necessary.

You know, we need to keep working to get better.

And that's in all areas, all aspects of what we're doing.

I came in here thinking that we were going to turn it right away.

I really did and anticipated doing that, and that's not what's taking place, unfortunately.

All the subtle dance are not so subtle dance that happens when a season has gone sideways

and the coach would like to keep

his job, even if that means the general manager, the person who built the roster that needs to be

rebuilt, being thrown overboard. And obviously the GM under those circumstances would be whispering

to someone. The talent is there. We just don't have the coaching. That's a recipe for dysfunction.

And that's what the

Raiders currently are. It really is sad to think that since Super Bowl 37, we've seen a couple of

cameo appearances in the playoffs. Now, look, 2021, they had the Bengals on the ropes and the Bengals made

it to the Super Bowl that year. That was the Rich Basatia interim game.

And maybe they should have just given Rich Basatia the job. Maybe they'd be a better team right now if they had. But they're just not good enough. They don't have enough good players on both sides of the ball. If I'm Max Crosby, I would want out of there. If I'm Brock Bowers, get me the hell out of there. Those are the two red dot players on the team or blue dot or what color is the dot? Is it blue dot or red dot? I think it's a green dot. Now, you know what I'm talking. Whatever it is, the guy that you have to know where he is at all times. He's the guy. He's the change maker. You know what I mean? They have one on each side of the ball. And why would you want to continue to stay there when it just feels like they're going nowhere? And I don't know what they're going to do. I really don't. It feels unsustainable. 75 yards of offense.
