So let's take this as it happened.

You had Steve Boshaddy at the podium on Tuesday talking about firing John Harbaugh and giving his reasons why.

We led the league in giving up big leads in the fourth quarter.

It's not something that winning organizations do.

We have underperformed based on our seating in the playoffs. Very disappointing.

This was a very long answer as he gave one more reason as to why.

I just thought it was something that in the last 10 years we've won the third most games

in the NFL and yet people were saying we

were underachievers. And so we were, and we had to own that. They owned it. And then as he

continued to talk and talk and talk, at some point, the news was breaking about Mike Tomlin

making his decision to step away and so since

he was at the podium and I think just prior to this was when he muted his phone because he realized

his phone was still on so as he was talking he takes his phone he mutes it and a few minutes later

the reporter then gives him the news Mike Mike Tomlin stepped down at Pittsburgh.

He did? Is it official?

That's what I keep hearing. So is he a candidate here?

Holy shit, Mike. Wouldn't that be awesome?

Maybe.

Good for Mike.

Yeah, I don't know. Talk to him. I love Mike. I mean, I've admired Mike for 18 years, and that's really shocking.

So Tomlin with the Steelers, Harbaugh with the Ravens, and both are no longer in those positions.

As Tomlin stepped down after 19 years, 193 wins.
