Thanks for having me, guys. It's a pleasure.

On the first page of your book, Reboot, you say,

I didn't set out to write a book about growing up.

What did you set out to do? And tell us how the book came about.

I set out trying to answer the question of leadership and really trying to understand

what it was that I believe to be true about leadership.

And it was really the process of writing the stories and assembling the stories that I wanted to tell

that led me to realize that what I was really describing was a much deeper and arguably more important process,

the process of becoming an adult, a process of becoming a fully actualized human being.

What was your own growing up like?

I read that you had a mother who suffered from bipolar and a schizoid effective disorder,

and that must have been so hard, and I'm sure that influenced you a lot.
