So yesterday afternoon, maybe early evening,

saw some surprising and sad news come across my timeline

that Gerard Mustof, who went to the University of Maryland,

who went to the DeMatha, passed away at the age of 55. I didn't see a cause of death I didn't I mean no real details I mean the most

important detail is he passed away I think it's a heart issue I don't know if it was an

actual heart attack or something else, but yeah, he's died on his birthday.

Yeah. Terrible. And of course he went to high school with Eric and I graduated in 88 from the Matha. I played with him at the Matha.

He was second team high school all American went to University of Maryland he was a

stud seven steth

17th pick in the draft my only in person and it I wouldn't even call it an interaction with him was I went to a

demath of like possible orientation like didn't know where I was going to go to high

school so I attended when I was in middle school and I think it was in the Mathis gym and I don't know I'm a I'm a five foot

Five eighth grader at that point. I'm just sitting into Mathis Gym and in walks the tallest person I've ever seen in person and it was

Gerard Bustoff because he was our age and I guess he was just getting the toward. And I just looked at him like,

how am I the same species as this person that's walking in?

Like he was just a genetic freak.

Like he was so tall.

Like I couldn't believe in person so shocking so

Jason played with him and he was and he was you know he made the freshman at

Damathia back in the time when Damatho was like still the iconic dominant program in the area.

And Freshman didn't make the varsity.

I think he was the sixth freshman of all time.
