Now, in saying that, you know, everyone wants to know who the starter is going to be.

I think there are multiple factors that kind of have to go into this decision.

One is the total body of work, whether we're talking about the spring or the entirety of training camp.

And now I'll also say oftentimes we forget about just the overall experience that a guy like Jacoby has,

which will also be weighted in the decision that we have to make here in the near future.

But I'm happy with the way those guys are, you know, battling it out. And hopefully over the next couple of days, we can name a starter and get the season rolling.

rather discussing or confirming what he said on EEI this morning

and that is that Drake May has been better than Jacoby Brissette.

So he preaches competition.

He says the best guys will play. He tells Chris Collinsworth, I'm presuming, in the pregame production meeting that this is a competition and the best guys are going to play. And whoever wins it gets it. And then he says basically Drake Mays won it. But then in the next breath he says, but it's more than just that. We'll see who plays their quarterback.

So like that, I think, I wonder if that's going to be a hard sell for Gerard Mayo internally. Yeah, he's moving the goalposts at the end of the test. It tells his players, best players win. It's all, you're all competing. And you'll play if you earn it. So now Drake Mays earned it, but he's not going to play.

How does he address that to the rest of the rank and file?

Well, he comes up with a, you know, again, clever way to say that, you know, there are other variables which he knew from the very beginning. So the whole thing along the way was a sham. So this is part of my issue. I'm all for a patient plan with a young quarterback i've
