podcast, Jeremy Bolo. Hey, glad to be here, Owen, and I will defy, I am not the best. Gavin is by

far the best. He's a legend in Premier League. But I'll be a distant second. Okay, I received that

correction. We're going to amend that. In all seriousness, you are the most

interesting young man in evangelicalism. You have a very cool background. God has taken you some very

interesting places, some highs and some lows. But why I wanted to talk to you today is you are a

gracious but forceful voice in our generation for the gospel of Jesus Christ.

This is an interesting day and age. We've got challenges from different angles. We've got

wokeness and we've got Islam in the broader sphere working against the church. We've also got

some fundamentalism and legalism working against the gospel.

I want to talk with you about that today. But first, I want to ask you, how did you come to

trust in the gospel of divine grace? What did that look like in your life?

I think I was five years old. I've looked back on my testimony for years now and wondered when the Lord saved me. But I was raised in a very faithful Christian home. My father is a reformed Baptist pastor. My mom stayed home. She was a very accomplished professional violinist, but chose to raise me and my older brother and older sister and just poured truth into us. So I grew up in the church,

hearing good theology my whole life. And I do think, you know, more and more I'm being

convinced that at the age of five is when I gave my life to Christ and experienced genuine change.

I think that may have been the moment of regeneration when I was convicted of my

sin and wanted to be in Christ's kingdom, I said, at five years old, and I pray and ask the Lord
