I'm going to get to Tennessee's quarterback situation as there continues to be uncertainty around the starting position.

What we seem pretty certain on is Brian Maurer will not be playing for Tennessee on Saturday

as he did not practice on Wednesday and he was in Nashville visiting Vanderbilt.

It appeared based on his post on social media, getting checked out after being involved in a very light manner at practice on Tuesday.

He was not taking any team reps, according to Jeremy Pruitt.

But you'll hear an update on Brian as well as the battle between Jared Garantano and J.T. Shrout here in segment number one.

In the second segment of the show, I'm going to get to recruiting as on Wednesday's show, I talked about the commitment of Bryson and Eason.

And if you were listening thinking, hey, how come he's not talking about the commitments of Martavius French and Tamarian McDonald, two teammates of Eason who also chose the balls?

I had recorded the podcast Tuesday, just a little extra information. I had recorded it. I actually went back and edited a little bit Tuesday night as I had recorded the show and posted it early for Wednesday. And of course, as it always

works out, Bryson, I had the commitment there. I did say watch out for the Whitehaven

trio because there was kind of an expectation that the other two guys could choose to

and see as well. They did that. So apologies if you're listening to Wednesday show,

wondering, does Josh not know that the other two guys committed as well? It's how it works, I guess, when you're doing a daily podcast. But in segment

number two, I'll get to the importance of the Whitehaven trio choosing Tennessee and huge
