I was 23. I was like, why didn't you do this? And I was like, well, that's because I was

like, Jeremy, you didn't do it because you don't want a daddy. You want to be your own

daddy. So then I wrote daddy, which in so many ways became my daddy. Like, daddy is

to play the got me into Yale. Daddy is to play the got me a production in London, got

me a production in Japan, got me my first A24 movie. I was not born with a daddy in
