There was one away game and we had just lost.

And we lost by like one and they had hit like a buzzer-beater.

Jeremy Lynn. The former NBA guard spent this past season with the Beijing Ducks in the Chinese

Basketball Association.

And, you know, I think that night I had like 30-something points, but we lost.

And so I'm like, oh, shoot, like everyone's going to go home.

As the most iconic Asian American basketball player ever, his life in China got a bit surreal.

We go on the bus, and the bus is like surrounded by people.

And there's like police barriers up and police are surrounded and so I'm like okay like we lost I'm not even in a mood to think about

anything I didn't want to talk to anybody I don't want to wave to any fans we get to the hotel

and I was like okay be a nice guy I like, I'm going to try to sign for every

single person here. But it got to the point where like I couldn't get to the elevators and

the hotel security didn't know what to do. They couldn't control everybody. And it was just like

hundreds of people in there. And at the end, we were literally just barreling through people

trying to get to the elevator.

And everyone was like yelling, people were grabbing me, like my shirt was getting grabbed.

Like, I would sign something and then other people would like rip it out of people's hands.

It was like, it was mayhem, dude. It was mayhem.

Jeremy Lynn says his season in China has helped him turn a new page,

inspiring a decision to attempt a comeback in the NBA,

where he once shot through the sky like a meteor.
