Hello, so this weekend I caught up with friend of the podcast,

the cricket commentator and journalist,

Izzy Westbury, because we were recreating our

triumphant appearance on University Challenge

for our old college.

And we failed dismaly in a round about,

and I kid you not, the hardness of minerals.

But it did remind me that she knows a lot about cricket

and she's gonna help me out now.

That was my one redeeming grace, I feel.

Yeah, I know a lot more about the hardness of minerals,

though, I'll be dining out on that tonight.

Anyway, because I was galvancing around doing trivia

yesterday and quizzes, I didn't really, really clock

what was going on at the cricket,

please can you just explain it to me in layperson's terms?
