Unfortunately, it was some injury news.

Liverpool right back Jeremy Frimpong could be facing another spell on the sidelines

after he was forced off after just 13 minutes of the Netherlands game against Ecuador on Tuesday night.

Fringpong actually came on for Cody Gapel

half time, but just before the hour mark he went off, it looked like potentially a muscle

injury. Ronald Kuhman after the game, the Dutch manager, didn't give too much of an insight

into what happened. He just said, you know, it was a blow for us, and he did confirm that

that Frim Pong had worked off with what

appeared to be some type of injury he's already had for what it's worth three hamstring injuries

at the pool this season has flim pong and obviously with connor bradley being out for a long time

joe gomez having fitness issues right back has been a problem for the reds. And yet this doesn't make things any better whatsoever.

Now, Gomez should be available when the international break ends at the weekend.

And like I say, maybe that's a good option to play against Manchester City.

Maybe a more defensive person at Wrightback.
