Jeremiah, this is going to be a hybrid episode where we both have a game to break down and a game to preview for Thursday night. So what I want to do, so I want to take things that you observed from Sunday and apply them to Thursday. What do you think is at the top of the list of things the

Minnesota Vikings should learn from Sunday's game about themselves or improve

that they have to quickly turn around and apply.

Yeah, the number one thing for me is the blueprint that the Detroit lines put on how to beat the Blitz against Brian Flores.

They were very, very good on finding ways

to mix up their protections,

finding ways to understand how to get receivers

behind the line backing core

and in between the safeties when they're playing such deep coverage.

And then also finding ways when the Detroit Lions did something that I thought was incredibly smart

was they would set up in a protection that made it look like the running back was going to be involved in the protection and then they'd leave the backside tied end in so it was still a six man protection and then they'd leak the running back out and because Brian Flores

assumed that the running back would be in there was no one accounting for the

running back. I thought that was brilliant but that for me was the number one

thing that showed up was the ability for Jared Goff and the Detroit

Lions to beat the Blitz of Brian Flores. I guess that is really the question

here is, is it a blueprint or is it the Detroit Lions are really good at what they do.

They have one of the best coordinators, they have a lot of the best players, one of them

using PEDs, but he didn't even catch any passes.
