and it is time for Tuesday evening, left guard with Jeremiah Searle's, the first time

this year that we've actually gone live because your schedule allowed it.

And I thought, you know what?

We got a lot to talk about, including one of your former teammates coming back into the NFL, which is an amazing story.

I would love to hear later in the show what it's like to play with Philip Rivers and your expectations for him coming back to the NFL. But Jeremiah, you know,

we've kind of made this a running bit through the year. So why don't we do it again?

Where, where's the McCarthy meter at now? There was the, uh, hey, after Detroit, are you buying in?

Hey, after the next couple games, are you out? Where are you after J.J. McCarthy's most

recent, very solid performance against the Washington commanders? He checked a box for me.

He checked a box, which was, okay, maybe you can do it, right? Maybe you can do it in the structure

in which we have implemented for you.

And I think this is more of a testament to, hey, Kevin O'Connell, way to meet your quarterback in the middle, 12 personnel, multiple tight ends, play action pass, bootleg, handoffs.

I like it. If he can do that, okay, let's load that a little bit onto his plate.

We saw what simplify actually meant in real time. It was effective. It worked. We didn't ask you

to do too much, which is okay. But what we did ask you to do, you were able to execute.

Right. So I think we've moved a little bit from like sell, sell,

sell to, okay, we're still in the red, but we're hovering into the orange category.

Like we're still, we're moving our way up into that possible orange category, but we're still

very much in the red. One of the things that I've enjoyed about doing the show with you

over the last few years is how easily you could be moved when things

happen. And we wouldn't have such a great industry of football analysis if we all didn't overreact

...
