Why don't we just begin with the most obvious thing that Kirk Cousins is going to be

the quarterback of the Minnesota Vikings in 2026?

That's that's only half quarter 10% joking at this point.

But but but let me joking at this point.

But let me ask you this question.

How optimistic are you?

Give me like a one to 10 that the Vikings quarterback situation, when we start week one next year,

that we'll be saying on Tuesday morning left guard,

I feel pretty good about this.

Like, where's your one to ten? At this exact moment, like a two, I think like at this exact moment, like a two, now let's get, let's table that discussion and say, okay, two now and then let's see at the end of March where we feel, right? Like after March, let's say, okay, they did something in free agency. And then let's do it after the draft too. Like, okay, maybe they did something in the draft.

So I think that scale has room to rise. But I think two is probably the floor. Two is probably the floor. And that's about where I'm at with it right now. Yeah, I don't blame you for having a two on that because when we look at all of the potential options and the performance by J.J. McCarthy

and the way that J.J. McCarthy

and the way that the season ended, even guessing that he would be healthy enough to start

week one, the way that things have gone for him health-wise is a leap right there,

expecting him to make a ginormous jump from where he finished the season
