Got a tough case for you this week.

It's the case of Jeremiah Oliver from 2013 and on.

This case comes to us via Fitchburg, Massachusetts.

Now, Fitchburg is located almost in the center of Massachusetts, I guess.

It is west of Worcester, Massachusetts.

It's a former mill town, and it's definitely seen better days.

I describe Fitchburg as being hodscrabble.

There is a college in Fitchburg, Fitchburg State.

It's in the Massachusetts University system, and it's a decent school. A lot of people work there.

A lot of residents of Fitchburg do work at the university. There's not much else around there in terms of industry. And as you get outside

of Fitchburg, I'd say the economic conditions actually worsen. Fitchburg is, I think it's listed as a town,

but it feels like more of a city. And Fitchburg has city level problems.

There's a lot of poverty when you get out to western Massachusetts, and Fitchburg isn't exempt from that.

Like I said previously, as you get out to the communities even further west of Fitchburg, Athol, Orange, there's a lot of welfare recipients, people in need, and families in crisis. And this is the whole area.
