We're getting super close to Christmas and I hope this finds you peaceful, maybe sipping a cup of tea and enjoying the day.

Today I'm reading from Jeremiah 32 versus 24 through 44 in the World English Bible,

and this is what it says. Behold, siege ramps have been built against the city to take it.

The city is given into the hands of the Chaldeans who fight against it because of the sword,

of the famine, and of the pestilence. What you have spoken has happened.

Behold, you see it.

You have said to me, Lord Yahweh, buy the field for money and call witnesses, whereas

the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.
