0:42.0	Before we dive in, we're going to be covering Jeremiah today, the second half,
0:46.0	as well as the little book of lamentations.
0:48.0	Amazing material. Before we go there, I've just lately had more and more opportunities to meet many of you.
0:55.0	At conferences or speaking assignments, even at a beautiful baptism just a few days ago,
1:00.0	where I got to meet a new, one of the newest members of the church,
1:05.0	and a long time listener, it's such a blessing to meet you,
1:10.0	to feel that we're kindred spirits, that share a deep, deep love of Scripture
1:15.0	and a willingness to spend an ordinary amount of time in it.

1:23.0	and my life is deeper, and richer, having come to know many of you.
1:27.0	I am grateful for the time that you're willing to spend with me,
1:30.0	and I'm grateful for the time I'm able to spend with you.
1:33.0	And I pray that our time in Scripture is life-changing, more than just,
1:38.0	oh, I get it now, which I hope is happening, especially this year in the Old Testament.
1:42.0	But more than I understand Scripture, they're having the effect in my life that they're intended to have.
1:48.0	They are drawing me closer to the Lord.
