Hi friend, this is Mary Demuth and this is Pray Every Day, where I pray through the Bible verse by verse on the sixth day of December, 2025.

I can't believe it's going to be 2026, can you?

Yeah, I want to pray for someone whose child is sick.

And so, Lord Jesus, I pray for my friend whose child is sick and how heavy that can be.

Of course, I pray that you would heal the child, give strength to the parent, and I pray they

would know you even more through this ordeal, that your presence would be thick and there,

and you would sing songs of deliverance over them.

I pray this in Jesus' name.

Amen.

Okay, today we are reading and completing Jeremiah 26, verses 16 through 24 in the

World English Bible, and this is what it says. Then the princes and all the people said to the priests and to the

prophets, this man is not worthy of death, for he has spoken to us in the name of Yahweh, our God.

Then certain of the elders of the land rose up and spoke to all the assembly of the people,

saying Micah, the Morasite prophesied in the days of Hezekiah, king of Judah, and he spoke

to all the people of Judah saying, Yahweh of army says, Zion will be plowed as a field and Jerusalem

will become heaps and the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest. Did Hezekiah

King of Judah and all of Judah put him to death? Didn't he fear Yahweh and entreat the favor of

Yahweh? And Yahweh relented of the disaster which he

had pronounced against them. We would commit great evil against our own souls that way.

There was also a man who prophesied in Yahweh's name, Yeriah, the son of Shemaiah of

Kiryeth Jerram, and he prophesied against this city and against this land according to all the words of Jeremiah.

When Joachim, the king, with all his mighty men and all the princes, heard his words, the king sought to put him to death.
