Hey everyone, this is Mary Demuth and this is Pray Every Day, where I pray through the Bible verse by

verse, super grateful to have you here and just want to reiterate how thankful I am for all the emails

that you sent in and all the messages on social media about Pray Every Day and that it was a blessing

to you. I will continue with vigor to deliver this podcast. I am standing here today, humbled and grateful.

And yes, when I am recording pray every day, I am standing. I'm standing because the Word of God

deserves to be stood for. And it also really helps me to have good breath control to stand.

So anyway, thank you for being a part of this. Today I'm reading

from Jeremiah chapter 23 verses 1 through 19 in the world English Bible and this is what it says.

Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture says Yahweh. Therefore Yahweh,

the God of Israel, says against the shepherds who feed my

people, you have scattered my flock, driven them away, and have not visited them. Behold, I will visit

on you the evil of your doing, says Yahweh. I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all the

countries where I have driven them, and I will bring them again to their folds

and they will be fruitful and multiply. I will set up shepherds over them who will feed them.

They will no longer be afraid or dismayed. Neither will any be lacking, says Yahweh. Behold the days

come, says Yahweh, that I will raise to David a righteous branch and he will reign as king and deal wisely

and will execute justice and righteousness in the land. In his days Judah will be saved and Israel will dwell in safety.

This is his name by which he will be called, Yahweh our righteousness.

Therefore behold the days come says Yah, that they will no longer say,

as Yahweh lives who brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt,

but as Yahweh lives who brought up and who led the offspring of the house of Israel

out of the north country and from all the countries where I have driven them,
