Hey there, this is Mary Demuth, and this is Pray Every Day, where I pray you through the Bible verse by verse.

So excited to have you here. Today, humbled and grateful for your presence, and so want to commend you for your love for scripture and being prayed for.

I'm continuing on. Today I'm going to read from some words that Robin wrote.

My blessed friend in prayer, she says, I'm so glad

others reached out to you faster than me. I was thinking of all the things I wanted to say to keep you in my morning routine, but thought I was being selfish.

You have helped me in so many ways and so many low parts of my life over the past several years.

But I also have learned that just because I desire something,

each of us has a different plan in life,

whether by God's choice or our own.

I am extremely happy that you're going to stick around.

My own retirement is in two years,

and changes in life are exhausting.

I pray for you and your crew and family, may you find rest in

pleasing God and your devoted listeners. Thank you so much, Robin, and I count you as a blessing

for sending that email to me, and so grateful for you and pray a blessing over your life.

All right, today we're going to finish up Jeremiah

13-12-27 in the World English Bible, and this is what it says. This is Jeremiah saying this.

Give glory to Yahweh your God before he causes darkness and before your feet stumble on the dark

mountains. And while you look for the light, he turns it into shadows of death and makes it deep darkness.

But if you will not hear it, my soul will weep in secret for your pride.

My eye will weep bitterly and run down with tears because Yahweh's flock has been taken

captive.
