Happy New Year and welcome to This Feels Terrible. My name is Aaron McGaffey. I'm your host. This is the first episode of 2017. And I am so pleased that you have joined me for this specific episode because I think it is especially good. Today on the podcast, I have comedian, podcast host, TV writer, pin barren art gallery

owner, rapper, and author of Kanye West owes me $300, Mr. Jensen Karp.

I first met Jensen at a screening at my house for The Bachelor.

If you don't know what The Bachelor is,

it's a very intellectual reality show, which allows the viewer to discuss human behavior in a safe place. So check that out. Check out the Bachelor. And that's how I got to know him.

But when I met him, I did not realize

that I actually knew who he was already, because when I was a teenager, I was familiar with him as

the white rapper, Hot Carl, with a K. And I did not make the connection until kind of recently. He's lived 30 lives. And this book that

he's written, Kanye West owes me $300 as a memoir of all of these different lives that he's led.

And he's fascinating because over the,

the short time that I've known him, he'll, like, and listening to his podcast, he'll drop just

random 90s names and stories. And then we'll just skip past them really quickly because he doesn't,

you know, he doesn't want to name drop,

but he'll say like randomly that he made grilled cheese for Johnny Knoxville or he'll mention

crocheting with Christina Aguilera. Those aren't real examples, but the real examples are pretty
