Now, this is being quite the day, ladies, I have to say. Now, I am back in an echoey room in a nondescript hotel. Ruth, you look absolutely shell-shot, not as shell-shot as me. I'm up in Edinburgh. I know. It's been absolutely bad shit nuts. It has been, the Prime Minister's up, Nigel Farage was up, Kemi Bidnock was up, everybody was in Scotland today. Yeah, well, I came up to

Scotland today to do some preview piece filming on the Holyrood elections coming up. That's what I

thought I was doing. No, no, no, baby. But that's not how

the days ended. But I'm so glad that we are getting to pod on this massive newsday because

there has been the madness of Robert Jenrick defecting to reform. This is the day that he was

sacked by Kemi Badernock from the shadow cabinet because she found out about his scheming and plotting, and she booted him out before he walked out.

And it's the same week that the former Chancellor and Adim Zahawis affected to reform.

So what started out as a day on the Scottish elections has ended in a big

shitstorm around the Conservatives and Reform. And you still didn't get to talk about the additional

member system and how you vote for Holyrood, did you? No, and I've learned all about that,

so that's really disappointing. So this is like a

massive, undeniably a massive political earthquake. And I'm really interested to hear from you, Beth,

how it's all unraveled, because it's been an absolute psycho drama. I mean, honestly, politicians,

they love the drama. There's just so much to discuss in this

because one, what on earth just happened?

Two, like nobody welcomes a colleague jumping ship.

But weirdly and oddly, is this actually kind of a sign

that Kemi's getting stronger in her position

rather than weaker?
