We always like to start at the beginning. So when did you first decide that acting was your passion?

When were you bitten by that bug, so to speak?

Well, when I was at school many, many years ago, I grew up in Malaysia and I did ballet. And then I was sent to boarding school

when I was nine. And the headmistress of the little boarding school I went to in England

introduced me to verse speaking in public. And I loved it. And she inspired me. And I remember writing and directing and starring

in, of course, my own plays. And then I went on to my public school. Now, that would be a,

it's a high school, I think, in your language. And again, I starred in all the house plays and

the school plays. And I knew I was good at it,
