Hello, my little Garbanzo beans, it's me, Allison, and welcome to the show before it officially

starts.

We have time for, you know, a little bit of discussion.

First of all, I want to say thank you so much to everyone for all the really nice things

that you guys have been tweeting and Facebooking and saying and emailing about the fact that

I am engaged.

It's been really nice to read everything, and if I sound a little down right now, which

I don't know if I do, maybe I am just that good at sounding chipper or maybe not, it's

because I saw my parents over the weekend and just inadvertently they kind of just got

in my head and pushed some buttons, and now I have that feeling of just that it's not

even, it's not even, I can't even, it's not even thoughts, it's not even words, it's

not even like I feel this way because of this.

It's more just like I feel like jello inside, like someone just reached in and, and like

my brain is a snow globe and I've just been turned upside down.

And now there's a whole bunch of dust floating on the cityscape that is my soul.

But not in a beautiful way, because I know if that sounded pretty, but no.

And actually here, I'll give you an analogous emotional situation, although what I'm going

to describe has nothing to do with what happened this weekend, which is why it's so weird,

and I'm wondering if you guys can relate to this, but the thing I'm about to describe

is very specific actually.

So here we go, there's also, there's a hair in my lip.

That's what we're dealing with right now.
