I know it's been a minute, but I am here with a very cool, fun, exciting announcement.

I've started a brand new podcast with my dear friend, the one and only two-time Tony Award

nominee and star of death becomes her,

Jennifer Samard. The podcast is called The Golden Girls Deep Dive Podcast.

The idea of the Golden Girls Deep Dive podcast is that each week, starting from the beginning,

Jen and I recap an episode of everybody's favorite sitcom The Golden Girls,

and we do it with all the fun and the humor and the sass, but there's a twist.

We have a full-time researcher on our staff. His name is Jess. He's amazing. So every episode is

tripping with trivia and fun facts and gossip based in truth. Basically everything you never knew

you wanted to know about the Golden Girls episodes. And at the end of each episode, one or the other of us does a fully researched deep dive

on something from the Golden Girls universe.

So, for example, episode one, this episode that you're about to hear, I do a full deep dive

at the end all about the actor Charles Levin, who played Coco, the gay chef in the pilot episode,

but then disappeared.

And this guy went on to have a really cool life and career, and then he died tragically and mysteriously in an Oregon forest when he was 70.

Like, the deep dive was crazy.
