My name is Jennifer.

I'm an alcoholic, and my home group is back to basics big book study in Burnsville, Minnesota.

And we meet every Thursday night from 7 to 830, and after some readings and a quick presentation

on a concept or a tradition, we hit the book, and we go through it a paragraph at a time,

and try to take in the experience the first 100 had, and figure out how we can apply it

in our own lives, and have the same experience.

My friend of mine in the group lent me a line, so I will share it with you.

I've been sober all day, and it ties the record.

Nobody has done any better.

My friend Gerald said you can borrow something from my speech.

He said, thank you very much.

But doing that, I've managed to tie that record for a little over seven years, and you know,

like a lot of other people here have already shared it.

I don't understand exactly how it works or why it works.

I just know that I've been blessed enough to stumble into this solution and live this solution.
