Jennifer Raylene Casper Ross was a 30-year-old from Reno, Nevada.

She was a showgirl and mother.

At 530 in the morning of May 5, 2005, Jennifer showed up at her mother's work. 5th,

Jennifer showed up at her mother's work in an agitated state.

Her mother wasn't there.

Jennifer then kicked off her shoes, jumped a fence, and ran off. She was never seen again. I'm at

Denzel and this is unfound. I'm going to do.

So, you know. And, I spend a lot of time in my bare feet. Maybe that's not a surprise, given that I work from home,

I live in a warm climate, and I don't have any children who might leave stray Legos on the floor.

In fact, just a couple weeks ago, I forgot something on the disc golf course,

but I was already back at my condo. I didn't even bother to put my shoes on, but I just

jumped in my car, drove back over there, walked around in my bare feet through the dirt, leaves, and twigs until I found

what I forgot.

People probably thought I was homeless.

Whereas my dad, he wears shoes in his own house. I don't get it. That feels so

official to me. It's like, relax man. And a friend of mine when she was here last year,

she would only walk around my place in her socks. So I guess she kind of split the difference between me and my dad.

Well, in the disappearance of Jennifer Casper Ross, she seemed to be having some sort of mental breakdown. Her mother's coworkers tried to calm

her and get her help. But instead Jennifer threw down her shoes and jumped a fence. Then she was gone. And we're left to

figure out what happened when Jennifer went barefoot in the dark. And now a summary of the dark.
