What is up, Daddy Gang? It is your founding father, Alex Cooper, with Call Her Daddy.

0:11.3

Jeanette McCurdy, welcome to Call Her Daddy.

0:13.4

Thank you. Good to see you, Alex.

0:15.0

Good to see you. You are officially my first guest of 2026.

0:19.9

That's so cool.

0:20.8

It's really good. I feel like we're kicking it off

0:22.6

on a strong note. Are you someone that does like New Year's resolutions? I'm huge, like huge into

0:29.5

new year's resolutions and goals and I sort of map out my whole year. It never winds up happening the

0:34.3

way that I plan it to, but I'm very into like the workbooks and the list making process.

0:39.9

Like are you buying like a new notebook for it? I do Aaron Condren Planners. I do the Artist of Life workbook, both of them every year. You're like laminating things. You've got like a board up. My floral stickers. I like pin them in the corner. Okay, wait, what are your New Year's resolution?

0:53.1

And I sort of, well, I do, I do goals rather than resolutions and I sort of break them down by season.

0:57.3

This is going

0:57.7

to get really nerdy, really. Holy shit. And I take my favorite part of the year is the week

1:02.8

between Christmas and New Year's. And I take that week to kind of evaluate my life and reflect on it

1:08.0

and think, where do I want things to go? And I I plan from there. I love this and you're going to make everyone, no, you know what? Because it's funny. It's like by the time this is out, everyone seems to be like, so I had this goal and I'm already a week in and I didn't fucking do it. God damn it. No, I'm someone that used to do it and now I've just completely stopped on like

1:28.3

the concept of New Year's resolutions. Really? But I do like your vibe, which I do a lot of like goals. Yeah. Like I'm like career goals I've got in my brain of like what I want my 2026 to look like for me and my company and my career. But I don't say that's a resolution. We have to talk about this. Okay, because I feel, I have done the same thing for so many years where I go, like my main focus is, my primary focus is career, my secondary sort of relationship. What are my goals with these two areas? The rest of like the pie chart of life goes by the way, who cares. Doesn't matter. Health, whatever, we'll figure it out. But career is the thing that's always driven me. And just as of this

2:02.1

year, I've started thinking, you know, because I've reached so many milestones that I wanted to,

2:06.5

and I'm feeling the success that I wanted to for so long. There's something about that that has

2:10.6

caused me to want to maybe reframe my life a little bit and wonder what else can I juice for you? From this and do for myself, exactly.

2:19.4

Oh my God, you're like, wait, should I take care of myself this year instead of maybe like

2:23.5

completely focusing on work?

2:24.9

Like, what a concept.
