In its new season on Showtime, Weeds has been the biggest hit of the summer

and taken a big left term for it's been in seasons past. Its creator, Jenji Kohan, is back.

Jenji, thanks for being here. Oh, my pleasure. And her executive producer, Roberta Bennebib,

who runs the writing part of the show, I guess. We both. We basically do everything together. We tag team. Yes, we tag team.

What's great about the show this year is that that kind of aspect of the show of being about

your protagonist, not being in control, is completely spinning what the show is. She no longer even

has a home. I mean, when we left at the end of last season, the place was literally in flames.

And I have to ask you if this destruction ends up being like a metaphor because she has the opposite of the mitus touch.

She seems to destroy everything she comes in contact with.

Yes, she's the black widow.

She mates and she kills. There's also not much drama and success, really. She's, she mates and she kills.

There's also not much drama and success, really. It's failure that has more velocity.

There's also apparently comedy in failure as well.

But there's comedy in everything, I think.

We find it.
