So we're going to continue in our series on Jehovah, the names of God. Last week, we talked on Jehovah

Nisi, found in Exodus 17. The Lord is my banner. Tonight we are going to be on Jehovah Shalom.

Judges chapter 6, Jehovah Shalom. Jehovah, again, just means the existing one one that is who God is. He has always been,

forever, will be. His most famous proper name is Yahweh, and Jehovah just kind of stems out from

Yahweh. It's Y-H-W-H. And that's the proper name that God would give Moses in Exodus chapter 3. I am who I am. And so

Jehovah just stems from that. I want to highlight, actually, I want to recommend, I found this

a few weeks ago in my bookshelf. I had no idea I had this book, but I really want to recommend

it. I don't have a slide for it, but maybe you can see it from here, if you can, if you have good eyesight.

It's called The Names of God, and it's by George Knight.

Really good guy.

No, I don't know anything about him.

It's a really good book, though.

It's every name of the Lord from Genesis to Revelation.

I would recommend it, highly recommended,

the names of God by George Knight. And it's just a fabulous study. If you want to study more on

the names of God, get that book, have your Bible open and study that. And it will bless your

heart. It's really cool to see who God is in his names. And so let's pray.

And then we're going to start in Genesis chapter 6. And we've got a good, a good Bible passage

for us tonight. Let's bow our heads. Lord Jesus, again, we thank you so much for today. And as

we celebrate Valentine's Day, Lord Lord we ultimately want to be reminded

of the love of God through Jesus Christ and God that you are love. The Bible makes that clear

and you love us so much that you gave your son to die for us on the cross and so we want to be
