This week, the Obama administration agreed to release a classified memo

from 2010 that authorized the killing of an American terror suspect overseas. The decision

came as the Senate took up the nomination of David Barron for a seat on the U.S. Court of

Appeals. It was Barron who wrote the memo when he worked in the Justice Department in

Obama's first term.
