I'm Jeffrey Rosen, President and CEO of the National Constitution Center, and welcome to the

The National Constitution Center is the only institution in America chartered by Congress

to disseminate information about the

U.S. Constitution on a nonpartisan basis.

It's been an exciting week at the National Constitution Center on October 21st. we awarded our Liberty Medal to Malala Yousaf

Cy, the youngest ever recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize. She is the seventh

person who has won the Liberty Medal and has gone on to win the Nobel and it was a

thrilling, emotionally compelling evening where this young hero talked about how important education and free speech are in defending

liberty and equality for people across the globe.

It was really an honor to be part of it.

On October 27th we are excited to be offering a preview of

our new gallery that will display one of the 12 original copies of the Bill of Rights

along with rare copies of the Bill of Rights,

along with rare copies of the Declaration of Independence

and the US Constitution.
