It's the media buzz meter with Howard Kurtz.

I know that the media and Maga World and the Democrats and even President Trump himself are obsessed with the Jeffrey Epstein case.

And we'll spend a little time talking about that. But if you go online, what the rest of the

world is really totally fixated on is cold play, or the cold play couple, which, unless you've been

living in the rock, you know that they ended up on the jumbo-tron

and as soon as they saw that they tried to hide their faces because they weren't supposed to be

there together and not only has everybody you know got lots to say about this but now there are all these memes where instead of having

the faces of the actual people you substitute you know any famous person that you want and

I think it went from being you know the sort of viral sensation that has become to an actual serious story

because the CEO of this company, astronomer, Andy Byron, has resigned.

He was there with his company's director of human resources.

So whatever impact it had on his personal life,

the company was very anxious to put out a statement over the weekend saying,

this is not reflect our values and we were accepted the resignation and obviously he didn't

really have any choice. At that point, it's a real news story and kind of a, what would

you say, a modern digital fable of what happens when technology intervenes.

And as I said on the air, and I stole this from someone I saw online,

I don't know, that this has also meant more attention than cold play has gotten in years.

The joke being they haven't had a hit, but that night, they created two singles.
