Virtual reality exists as a way to offer us a point of view into the world that's being created.

But what happens pretty rarely in virtual reality films is a point of view from the filmmaker.

My guest, writer-director, Jeff Stansler is here to be the antidote to that,

to offer a point of view as a filmmaker that's very much a part of the virtual reality experience

But that really is something, isn't it?

Something you must have noticed

that so often these VR films

are about trying to create an experience

while they offer us the filmmaker's point of view, right?

I've grown to know that.

I mean, definitely VR was birth

and is still being driven by the tech world.

So, yeah, I mean, obviously, Ineratu and a couple other people have, you know, dip their toes in the water.

But for the most part, it's still run by people who are trying to develop headsets and, you know, different delivery systems and

not by the artists slash creators yet.
