Now, we don't know whether they changed leads or they just changed the name of the show.

But this episode, we meet Joe Canto.

And the part is played by Bartney Arboral.

For those of you who are fans of Dragnet, Bartney Arborro is pretty significant.

He played Ben Romero, Joe Friday's first partner on Dragnet.

At this point, Yarborough was known for his roles, mainly in the Carlton Morris series.

One Man's Family, the longest one, soap opera.

But he also did. I love a mystery, and I love adventure, and adventures by Morse. All three of these series, as well as Hawk Larrabee, a wide variety of other performances. This role of Jo Kando would become a recurring role,

and we'll hear at least another one or two appearances by Mr. Yarborough here is on the Jack Webb run of the show.

And there we kind of get a feel for what might be ahead, just a little bit more than a year

away.

At this point, it's about 10.5 months before Dragnaf would premiere in 1949.

So this will be a pretty fun performance.
