You amaze me.

You are the reigning film historian.

And I'm blown away by how many times you'll have a filmmaker on and you'll say, you know, something I've noticed is that all your films deal with the father-daughter relationship.

And then the filmmaker will go, I never thought about that.

Matter of fact, I left my daughter just three weeks ago.

You're right.

You have this way of connecting dots that even the artist doesn't seem to understand.

I guess this is celebrate your 13th year of Survivor in a way.

Yes.

Yeah, Stranded is is survivor for kids and that the idea was taking a blended family, a mom and a dad get married, and they have a boy and a girl, and they want them to get to know each other. So they put them on a sailing trip with their favorite uncle, and there's a shipwreck, and the kids end up stranded with no adults. And that's the basic premise.
