Yeah, we're we're excited to learn a little bit about you and kind of your work and and and all the all the things you know that we don't know.

So why don't you why don't you give us a little background on yourself and how you got into architecture?

Yeah, I was fortunate to grow up playing golf at Essex Golf and Country Club in Windsor, Ontario, which is just across the river from Detroit.

Essex was, it's a Donald Ross course from 1929.

Yeah, so as a kid, I mean, I just took a unbelievable interest in the golf course.

You know, my brother and I joke around occasionally, you know, he was able to focus on the ball and

the Hulk became a real good player and I kind of hit shots and then looked around and saw

man how did they build that bunker? How did they build that green? You know why is why is the the golf course laid out this way I just it

was just something in me that you know what an instinctual interest in that sort of thing as I looked at the course.

But then I was lucky too because my dad

is an avid book collector and I used to go to his office and look through his bookshelf and it still amazes me that you know we're talking back in the late 80s

When I was a teenager you know my dad had all the books. He had golf architecture by McKinsey, you know, he had Scotland's gift by CB McDonald.
