friend, old friend of the podcast, BC head coach Jeff Halfley is with us to talk all things.

Zay Flowers. The maybe diminutive receiver out of BC, but ultra quick, extremely fast, all kinds

of shifty.

You can't stick with him on an option route.

This guy might be the quickest receiver in this year's draft class.

Zayflowers, to me, feels like the ultimate Patriot slot receiver,

but he gives you a little bit more on top of it with the vertical ability. Yes,

he's 5-9, about 180-ish pounds. So you're not going to ask him to live on the outside. But,

man, the way the Patriots generally speaking, like to move around their receivers, use them in

some different roles. Yes, you can occasionally use them in the screen game. Yes, you can

occasionally use him as an end-around player,

but he's not a quote-unquote gadget receiver. At least he's not strictly that. He can be much more

for the Patriots or really any team that drafts him, but obviously we're interested in his Patriots

fit. And this is a link that it feels like is being made more and more often the closer we get to the draft.

I had him going to the Patriots in my most recent mock draft.

I had the Patriots trading down to number 25 overall with the Jaguars.
