So as we talked about yesterday, Maryland football's lost five in a row. They're four and five after that four and oh start.

Mike Loxley was asked the other day in his press conference whether or not he believes his job is on the line.

He said no. He thinks he deserves to be the Maryland football coach. A lot of fans disagree.

So I'm catching up on what the AD Jim Smith said about Mike Loxley's future.

But let's just get right to it.

I want you, for those that aren't familiar with the situation, to kind of just outline

where he's been, what his record is in the Big Ten, how many years he's been here, what it

would require to actually buy him out, et cetera, and then the appetite for doing it among

boosters. Yeah, Kevin, I think, you know, the record, if I recall 16 and 40 in the Big Ten,

you know, there's, I think, an asterisk next to that to some extent,

just because the shape the program was in when he took over was really bad on and off the field.

They had won, I think, 13 games the past previous three years combined.

They were coming off Jordan McNair's tragic death and all the controversy surrounding that.

So the first few years, you have to give him a pass,

and then he had a good, you know, a solid three-year run of going to bowl games,

winning them each of those three years,
