You know, I'm surprised we even ever hit the record button because we spent about a half hour talking before, just about guitars and history and all sorts of stuff. And, you know, it's great to find a real kindred spirit. And I've always loved the stuff that you've done and the spirit in which you approach scripture. So welcome to the podcast... Yeah, it's good to be with you.

So, Jeff, you are, you've made a massive, massive impact on the world through sharing scripture and sharing different ways to really dive into

scripture, everything from, you know, your work with the Catholic Adventure Bible and

Bible in a year and the things you do on Hollow, but you weren't always a Catholic, which I think

might be kind of surprising, given how deep your knowledge is. How did that journey start? Where did

that come from? Yeah. Well, you know, I was born in Iowa, raised in Minnesota, and I was raised an average Catholic boy

and an average Catholic family, about as average as you could possibly get.

We went to Mass every week, confession three times a year, prayed before meals, prayed before bed.

That was about it.

Cut our sacraments. But outside of

that, it didn't really go much deeper in terms of like being taught in the home about the faith

or going deep with CCD or anything like that. And the era that I grew up in in the 60s was an era
