Around the world, IPO funding has fallen 80% because of the war in Ukraine,

surging inflation and higher interest rates. I'm joined now by our China Capital

Hudson, this is kind of incredible, especially considering the strict COVID lockdowns in Shanghai.

Did that impact these companies' ability to fundraise at all?

Well, certainly not as much as you think. In fact, we ran the numbers and

during the lockdown, China averaged more than one IPO per trading day. Now, part of that was

finance in Shanghai and Xinjiang working double time, but there was also quite a effort from
