Lucor Bouzier. Cohen explains why Lucor Bouzier was not only a great architect

but also a widely promoter of his ideas and his work.

Many of these moves in design and profession were moves that were meant to shock using the press.

This summer, the Museum of Modern Art is presenting its first major exhibition on the work of

the Kibucier.

The Kibucier's work as an architect, interior designer, city planner, and photographer

has done more than almost anyone to shape what modernism and the 20th century looked like.

The curator of the show is Jean Louis Cohen, an architect, a historian of architecture,

and the author and editor of the remarkable book accompanying

the exhibit. Jean-Louille Cohen was born in Paris but now teaches architecture

history at New York University's Institute of Fine Arts, and he's here today to talk about

the Kobusier.
