On September 20th, 1988, a woman was killed just before a new chapter in her life.

She was employed as an assistant sales and catering manager at the Howard Johnson Hotel in Rib Mountain,

and had gotten off of work the night before, so Shirley, getting worried, went to see if she could find her beloved daughter.

She did exactly that, and in doing so, stumbled upon every mother's worst nightmare.

In the parking lot, just outside the hotel, was Lisa's body, strangled to death with what was later determined to be about.

Lisa Sahaski was described as an incredibly optimistic young woman, one who was in the midst of planning a wedding for spring of 1991.
