This outcome will surprise no one who's been paying attention to the situation recently

because everything was pointing to the National Football League Players Association,

making J.C. Treader only the fifth executive director in union history.

However, last summer, Treder resigned from the union,

and he made it clear, I have no interest in being the executive director. And when he's available

to talk to reporters, the first question's got to be, what change between July and now? How did you go

from being, I don't want this job to I have this job?

had to resign in scandal and disgrace. And then so did J.C. Treader, kind of.
